Grewal Center for Mind Body Medicine, PA is an integrative and healing-oriented primary care practice. We believe there is no separation between mind, body, and spirit. Our philosophy guides our practice. We cultivate an empathetic and respectful partnership with each patient to them discover the most effective pathway to health, wellness, and an overall improvement in the quality of life.
Dr. Grewal is a board-certified family medicine physician and Functional medicine institution candidate. She has been practicing medicine since 2009. Her practice style is inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Kintsugi is ancient Japanese art where the broken pieces of shattered pottery are rebuild using gold lacquer resulting in exquisite stoneware. This philosophy results in embracing her imperfections as she strives towards perfection. She believes just like the shattered pieces of pottery, there exists a relationship between doctor and patient, she hopes to mend this broken relationship in her private practice.
Dr. Grewal graduated cum laude from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. She completed an internal medicine internship at Loyola Medical Center, Chicago, IL. Family medicine residency from Duke University/Southern regional AHEC.She enjoys practicing meditation, weight training, yoga, cooking and spending time with her beloved kids and husband.
Gin Burchfield brings 20 years of experience in the Integrative Medicine industry to her role as our Health Coach at the Grewal Center. Gin’s passion for helping others pursue greater health began by working with high-risk adolescents. She has certifications as a Health Coach, Yoga Instructor, is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and connects her experience in the fundamentals of Ayurveda to her approach as health coach.
She specializes in working with chronic disease, providing personalized guidance, tools and support based on the clients bio-individual needs Her approach includes nutrition, fitness, stress-reduction and behavior modification. Her goal is to help patients implement wellness-enhancing lifestyle practices that are approachable and possible to achieve.
Through extensive travels and study, Gin has worked with Ayurvedic teachers Deepak Chopra, Vaidya Sam Sasu, Vaidya Smita Naram, and is a Certified Yoga Health Coach through Cate Stillman and Yogahealer. She is a Certified 200-hour yoga instructor through Blue Lotus in Raleigh, NC and children’s yoga instructor through Little Guru. Gin holds a BS degree in Human Development and Family Studies from UNC-Greensboro.

Our office manager, Laura Kurtzman assists in our daily progress and continuous growth. With a background in office, spa and the organic food industry, she naturally aligns here to best serve our mission. She graduated with a degree in communication studies from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
